Vaccinations

Pediatricians at Novant Health Waughtown Pediatrics follow the vaccination schedule for children and young adults as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the American Academy of Pediatrics. We believe vaccinating children and young adults is the most important health-promoting intervention we perform as healthcare providers.

Children are at greater risk as the number of unvaccinated families grows in our country. Newborns are the group most vulnerable to contracting a serious illness.
